Nicola Vanello, PhD, is Assistant Professor in Electronic and Information Bioengineering at the University of Pisa. He received the Laurea Degree in Electronic Engineering in 2001 and the PhD in Automatics, Robotics and Bioengineering in 2006, both from the University of Pisa. He currently teaches regular courses on Biomedical and Image Processing at Biomedical Engineering Degrees and on Cardiovascular MRI Physical Principles at Institute of Clinical Physiology of National Research Council in Pisa. His research activity is related to models and methods for biomedical signal and image processing, with special focus in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He is author of 100 publications.
