Stefano Geuna is an Associate Professor of Human Anatomy, Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, and Research Group Leader at the Cavalieri Ottolenghi Institute of Neuroscience, a nonprofit Foundation which promotes translational research in basic and clinical neuroscience, where he coordinates a scientific unit focused on neural repair and rehabilitation. He is lead scientist in Europe in the study of neuroplasticity with more than 200 publications on this topic. He is General Secretary of the European Society for Peripheral Nerve Repair and Reconstruction (ESPNR) and Chairmen of the Research Commission of the European Federation of Societies for Microsurgery (EFSM).
